Dr. Jimmy Chandra is an associate professor and currently the head of Structural Engineering Laboratory at Petra Christian University, Indonesia. He obtained his bachelor degree from Petra Christian University, Indonesia, his master degree from Asian Institute of Technology, Thailand, and his doctoral degree from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. He has been teaching at Civil Engineering Department since 2009 and at Engineer Profession Program since 2019. His research interests include behavior and seismic performance evaluation of reinforced concrete and precast concrete structures as well as 3D printing concrete structures. As a researcher, he has performed many experimental studies and tested different kind of structural elements such as beams, columns, beam-column joints, slabs, walls, etc. In addition, as an engineer, he has also been actively involved in designing public buildings as well as private buildings.
